For those who you that looking for more alternative, this post might have something for you.
And for those who looking for links to scholarships and applying UPU IPTA, i got you cover!
Possible outcome after STPM:
Now you are standing in front of junctions of a road, its up to you which road you want to take.
Here are some of the possible roads that i forsee and you can take. There are some of my advices too!
1. Malaysia Public Universities (IPTA)
Well for most of the people, taking STPM is the highway to IPTA (public universities).
From what im speculating, there are less and less people taking STPM, and which means that the chances of getting into the university may be higher, but this is what i think, this is not fact.
But i will be doing a post specific for how to choose your course that you want, and some advice of some of the tips on doing that. Post will be live in a few days.
By the way, links that you will need to apply into universities:
http://upu.mohe.gov.my (For IPTA) (Deadline: 4th April 2011)
https://pohon.usm.my/ (For USM) (Deadline: 28th March 2011)
Read those instructions before filling up the form.
2. Private Universities Colleges
Here are a list of private universities colleges that you can choose from.
You can visit their sites for more info, or you can find their booth on any coming Education Fairs that are around KL. (Hopefully by the time i will keep you posted here!)

3. Overseas Colleges Universities
Well, if you think overseas colleges are better for you, go ahead and it’ll be fun.
(The person that may have least fun if you do so is your parents. :P)
Note that many of the local private uni also have overseas cert. And there are quite a lot of them that you can complete the whole course in Malaysia and get a UK/US/overseas cert.
4. Scholarships
If your result is not that bad (bad means probably below 2.0), you may stand a chance getting one of the scholarships offered. Just send in as many application to different associations that provide the opportunity, and pray hard that you are choosen, then you’re golden!
Here are some that my friend Hehehunter found and send it to me
The Star Education Fund
theSun Fund
There are more. Well dont worry, i will do a post on the scholarship thing later. Coming soon…. ๐
5. Study Diploma
Well, if your result is very bad, really really bad, well, its not the end of the world.
You can simply go to any private college, and get a diploma and start from there.
If you did your best for STPM, and still didnt get a good result, you will did well in your diploma i believe.
Fail in STPM is not the end of your life. You can refer to the list of private universities above, and im sure they will welcome you ๐
6. Work
If you are tired of studying and decided to work, well good luck to you.
But from what i heard and what i “think i will feel”, studying is more fun than working…
Anyway its up to you ๐
